To ensure the quality of our Agapanthus range, we started our own breeding program many years ago. Through diligent effort, a lot of care and precision, we’ve developed a range of Amourette® varieties that we lovingly present to our customers. This also resulted in the Amourette® Superb , the Amourette® of the pinnacle of excellence.

Care tips
Below are the care tips for the Agapanthus Amourette®.
With these tips, you will enjoy this beautiful plant even longer!
Growing an agapanthus from seed
After flowering, an agapanthus produces decorative seed pods. You can therefore safely leave the faded flowers on the plant. Once the seed pods have fully dried, the seeds are ripe and can be harvested.
Store the seeds in a paper bag in a cool, dry place. In spring (March–May) you can sow them in small pots with seed compost, preferably indoors in a bright spot. Keep the soil slightly moist until the seeds germinate.
Please note that plants grown from seed will not be identical to the parent plant. This means you will not obtain the same uniform quality and characteristics as an original Agapanthus Amourette®.
For garden enthusiasts, sowing seeds is mainly a fun way to experience for yourself how special it is to grow an agapanthus.
